Skype with Prof. Redlawsk

Skype with Prof. Redlawsk.
Our second seminar paper that was due on January 23 was based on a book about the Iowa caucuses that was written by Professor David Redlawsk. We were supposed to read the first two chapters and write a 4 to 5 page paper on the book. We had to address his framework of the caucuses, how they worked, what is the differences between the parties, the sequential nature of the process, and how his analysis can be used for the 2020 race. He was very insightful on his conversation with us via skype. A couple of people asked him questions and he responded to each very well. I was kind of scared to tell him that he looks so much like Mark Hamill (because he does!) and I ended up not asking him anything. I highly recommend reading his book Why Iowa?. It was very good and explains well the process of the caucus with data from the 2008 primary.
